Go Fish
A simple, lighthearted card game for families and children, where players ask opponents for cards to collect the most four-of-a-kind sets.
Objective
Collect the highest number of 'books' (four cards of the same rank) before all cards are matched.
How to Play
The Deal
Deal 7 cards each for 2-3 players, or 5 cards for 4+ players.
Ask & Collect
On your turn, ask a specific opponent for a card rank you already hold.
Go Fish
If the opponent has none of the requested cards, they say 'Go Fish,' and you draw one card.
Books & Winning
Complete four-of-a-kind sets ('books') and lay them down immediately.
Winning Conditions
- End Condition All books are made
- Winner Most books collected
Scoring
Scoring is simple: each completed 'book' (four-of-a-kind) is worth one point. The final score is the total number of books a player has placed on the table, and the player with the highest total wins.
